Treatment Procedures » Low-dose Chemotherapy
Low-dose Chemotherapy is being studied/used in the treatment of cancer to avoid the side effects of conventional chemotherapy. Historically, oncologists have used the highest possible dose that the body can tolerate in order to kill as many cancer cells as possible. After high-dose treatments the body reacts, sometimes quite severely. Infections from external causes become a leading threat of death. Some have suggested that the chemotherapy cure is worse than the cancer because of the hair loss and constant vomiting that are so common in chemo patients.

Stem Cell Facial
Stem Cell Skin facial Therapy uses cells taken from pregnant cows in the eighth month of pregnancy. The cells are drawn in such a way neither the cow nor the calf is harmed, and the cow's body replaces the drawn fluid in few hours. In lab the cells are purified and sterilized serum is stored in bottles. At a medical spa licensed clinicians, under the supervision of a medical expert treat facial skin with the stem cell mixture under sterile conditions. The workers are advised to use sterile gloves and masks to maintain aseptic condition and using a pipette it is transferred to the face. The liquid containing the stem cells is spread over the face until it is absorbed, and then a spray is applied often to keep the liquid in place until it can be absorbed into the upper layers of skin. Stem Cell Skin Therapy can be used in two ways: to firm or to hydrate. If a patient has deep creases, hydrating first so that the cells will better hold the stem cell solution for later tightening and firming. The effects of the treatment peak about six days following the application.

High Fiber diet
A fiber diet contains foods that have a lot of fiber. High fiber diet has many health benefits. High fiber diet is recommended in the treatment of digestive problems such as diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, diverticulitis and irritable bowel syndrome. Eating high fiber foods helps in proper digestion also helps in absorption of nutrients. When you eat the diet rich in fiber the daily intake of water should be adequate as liquids help your body to digest fiber. Recommendations for adults are between 25 and 40 grams per day. Dietary fiber adds bulk to your diet.
Health benefits of high fiber:
A diet rich in fiber controls Diabetes by maintaining the blood glucose levels. It actually slows down the digestion and it doesn’t raise the blood sugar levels too fast. It takes more time than it takes time when the food does not contain fiber. As the glucose is not released into blood too fast, pancreas doesn’t secrete insulin too fast and blood sugars are in control.
High fiber diet protects against colon cancer.
A diet rich in fiber lowers cholesterol levels. Fiber absorbs the water as it moves through digestive tract. And this increases the stool bulk, which causes the intestine to pass them more quickly. As the stool passes more quickly there is less chance for any harmful substances they contain to harm the cells lining the intestine. Fiber also helps as it traps cancer causing agents in colon.
It improves bowel regularity.
It increases satiety and controls appetite.
It also enhances immune system.
Prolonged contraction of the colon may result in diverticulitis. This increase in pressure cause small and larger ballooning pockets to form. Usually this doesn’t cause any problems. But sometimes they can become infected or also cause inflammation when the pockets are perforated. As the diet rich in fiber increases bulk in the stool and this reduces the pressure in the colon. And so the formation of pockets is stopped.
Fiber helps in treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. The increased amounts of fiber in diet produces soft and bulky stools. But IBS patients should be careful in selecting the amount and type of fiber. The reason is that the increased amount of soluble fiber may cause health benefit by growing the good bacteria, if too much of soluble fiber is consumed intestinal gas can occur.
High fiber diet lowers the risk of heart disease and controls the cholesterol levels and triglycerides.
High fiber diet is good weight management.
TIPS TO INCREASE FIBER IN YOU DIET:
Eat Fruits with skin instead of fruit juices.
Do not sieve whole wheat flour while you prepare rotis.
Instead of white rice choose brown rice.
Choose complex carbohydrates than simple sugars like whole grain cereals, whole grain breads.
Eat the skin on baked or mashed potatoes.

Galvanic facial is based on the basic laws of electricity, “like repels, opposites attract”. The skin as it is pulled together like a magnet pushes the product in to the deeper layers. The capacity of your skin absorption is increased by the galvanic ion and this improves the penetration of nutrition products (anti wrinkle lotion) through your skin, it will be completely cleansed as negative ions force all the dirt and debris held within pores to the surface. At the same time the positive ions gives you a fresh look and plump the skin, banishing wrinkles.

Vaccine for Dental Caries
Dental caries causing bacteria are streptococcus mutans. Many dentists are at work to find the vaccine which can completely stop Dental caries. The new caries vaccine uses an antigen called glucosyltransferase, or GTF-an enzyme that allows decay-causing bacteria to accumulate on teeth and. It arouses a greater immune response than other previously tested antigens. By stimulating immunity to the enzyme, the vaccine makes it impossible for the decay-producing microorganisms to cling to the teeth.
Unlike many vaccines that work through the bloodstream, this one triggers immunity in saliva and mucous tissues-hence it could be squirted or swabbed into the nostrils. The researchers believe the best way to provide long-term protection against caries is to vaccinate children at about the age of one, after baby teeth have begun to emerge, but before the mutans bacteria have started to amass in destructive numbers. At this age, children's immune systems are developed enough to produce the needed antibodies. (Once the bacteria have begun to build up, usually when a child is between 18 and 36 months of age, antibodies still form, but are powerless to interfere with mutans streptococci that have already established themselves on teeth; in high-sucrose conditions, these bacteria can still cause decay.) Since antibodies remain in the saliva-and can be "boosted"-they could conceivably provide lifelong immunity, although this has yet to be proven.

Brain cancer is an abnormal growth of cells within the brain or inside the skull, which can be cancerous or non-cancerous (benign). It is also known as Glioma or Meningioma. There is two types of brain cancer. Primary brain cancer starts in the brain and Metastatic brain cancer starts somewhere else in the body and moves to the brain. Brain tumors can be benign, with no cancer cells, or malignant, with cancer cells that grow quickly.
Types:
• Astrocytomas are usually noncancerous, slow-growing cysts. They most commonly develop in children of age 5 - 8.
• Brainstem gliomas occur exclusively in children of 6 years old. The tumor may grow very large before triggering symptoms.
• Ependymomas make up about 8 - 10% of pediatric brain tumors. The tumors are located in tiny passageways (ventricles) in the brain, and block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
• Medulloblastomas are the most common type of childhood brain cancer. They occur more often in boys than girls, usually around age 5. Most medulloblastomas occur before the age of 10.
Cholesterol
Cholesterol is a fat like substance that occurs naturally in the body. Most of the body’s Cholesterol is produced by liver. Since cholesterol is synthesized in the body, it is not a dietary essential. Dietary sources of cholesterol include meat, poultry, fish, ghee, butter, eggs and prawns. These high levels of blood cholesterol can increase risk of heart disease. Cholesterol cannot dissolve in blood. There are two types of cholesterol LDL and HDL .
LDL cholesterol: LDL is low density lipoprotein.LDL cholesterol is bad cholesterol. When too much of cholesterol circulates in the blood, it builds up slowly in the inner walls of arteries and form a plaque, this can narrow the arteries and known as atherosclerosis.
HDL cholesterol: HDL cholesterol is high density lipo protein. It is known as high density lipoprotein. High levels of HDL cholesterol protect against heart disease and low levels of HDL cholesterol increase the risk of heart disease.
Triglycerides: Triglyceride is a form of fat made in the body. People with high triglyceride levels can have high total cholesterol.

Excessive cell growth results in enlarged mass known as tumor. There are no strict boundaries of tumor, it slowly and slowly extends to surrounding healthy tissues and make them infected. Oral cancer generally invades throat, head and neck. Generally all oral cancers begin in squamous cells, therefore known as squamous cell carcinomas.
What are the causes of Oral Cancer?
Excessive smoking: Cigarettes contains tar which is harmful for the system of human being. If you practically smoke cigarette on white clean surface it will turn that surface yellow. Slowly and slowly tar keeps on depositing in our lungs and makes them even difficult to work. Excessive smoking results in limited mouth opening because of bands formation in cheek area. Eventually this condition turns into carcinoma formation.
Tobacco chewing: Tobacco chewers are in habit of keeping tobacco in between the cheeks or below tongue which makes that area infected. Heavy deposition of tobacco and prolonged habit is the main cause of oral cancer.
Excessive exposure to sunlight: Excessive exposure to sunlight causes cancers of oral cavity. Normally lower lip gets infected. Before going in sunlight always carry umbrella or apply sunscreen.
Exposure to X-Rays: High duration and prolonged exposure to x - rays can cause oral cancer.
Hereditary: Hereditary is one of the major factor in causing oral cancer. Inherited genes makes cells more sensitive to exposure to sunlight, x - rays and eventually result in cancer.
Sharp Tooth: Sharp tooth which keeps on irritating the tongue, if left neglected can turn into cancer in a period of time.
What are the prevention measures of oral cancer?
Limit the frequency of smoking and slowly and slowly stop completely. It is not at all healthy habit for oral cavity and body system as well.
If you are sensitive to exposure of x - rays, its patient duty to priory inform the dentist so that Dentist will treat accordingly.

Types:

• Brainstem gliomas occur exclusively in children of 6 years old. The tumor may grow very large before triggering symptoms.
• Ependymomas make up about 8 - 10% of pediatric brain tumors. The tumors are located in tiny passageways (ventricles) in the brain, and block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
